NGFL #4: 1014 Lex. by Δανάη Σακελλάρη

Η Δανάη Σακελλάρη σπούδασε στο Parsons School of Design στη Νέα Υόρκη.

Συνεργάστηκε με τη Donna Karan και δημιούργησε κοστούμια για μεγάλα θεματικά events σε μουσεία και άλλα venues με την Sotu Productions.

Σχεδίασε τη δική της συλλογή για boutique του Manhattan και συμμετείχε σε κινηματογραφικές παραγωγές, μέχρι που αποφάσισε να επιστρέψει στην Αθήνα και να ξεκινήσει το δικό της brand στην Ελλάδα.

Με το όνομα 1014 Lex. που εμπνεύστηκε από τη διεύθυνση του ατελιέ της στη Νέα Υόρκη η σχεδιάστρια δημιουργεί ξεχωριστές συλλογές υψηλής αισθητικής με πολυτελή υφάσματα, βασισμένη στην τεχνική του moulage.

Danae Sakellari studied at Parson School of design at New York

She collaborated with  Donna Karan and created costumes for major themed events in museums and other venues with Sotu productions.

She designed her own collection for boutiques of Manhattan and took part in film productions until she decided to return to Athens and start her own brand in Greece.

With the name 1014 lex. Inspired by the studio’s headquarters in New York, the designer creates separate collections of high aesthetics with luxurious fabrics, based on the moulage technique.
